Erin

Erin wanted me to write a blog post about her.

Erin is very smart, very funny, and overall very awesome. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met in my 15 years of living on Earth.

But then she read this and wanted me to make it longer so here we go. I'm going to write a poem about her on the spot

and I love her the way she is...

Scratch that, I'm an awful poet. Please forgive me Er-bear. In all seriousness, you're one of my bestest bestest friends, and if she ever leaves my life, I will cry myself to sleep every night that I live.

Halloween

I just thought of something to write about!

Kk, so Halloween's coming up, and I can't decide whether I should be Doctor Who (Matt Smith flavor) or Batman (The Dark Knight flavor)

The Cabin in the Woods

I freakin' love "The Cabin in the Woods". It's probably my 3rd favorite movie (right behind Inception and The Dark Knight Rises). It's just so... weird, and different from what you'd expect. The only things in that movie that are generic are the characters, the setting, and the fact that people die. I especially like that last part. :P

I would suggest a movie night where we watch it, but after the last movie night, where we watched "The Blair Witch Project", which took place almost exclusively in the woods, combined with the fact that no one else enjoyed the movie, it may take some convincing.

I would go on to complain about the pains of being a butt-ugly white schoolboy, but then I'd just get depressing and boring, and I don't want that.

I am officially out of things to write about. Why are you still here?

My dull, dull life.

My life is so incredibly dull nowadays. I mean, nothing's wrong, but at the same time nothing too terribly interesting has been happening to me lately. No movies I wanna see, no games I wanna play, nothing truly exciting.

I suppose the year's starting to wind down; leaves are changing colors, temperatures are dropping, and everything and it's mother has pumpkin in it. It's fall, probably the most uninteresting season ever.

But I do have things to look forward to; A Halloween party's coming up, which gives me a perfect excuse to dress up as Batman (yes, I'M BATMAAAANN!!), Cloud Atlas comes out next week, and I might be going to Six Flags this weekend!

I suppose I'm just in a small dull spot in my life. I'll get out of it soon enough, I'm certain!

BACK TO WASTING SPACE

Movies

One thing I'd really like to do is make a movie. Not like a little skit that can be done over the course of a night, but like a movie that I actually have to put thought and effort into.

The problem is that I can never get any ideas down into a good script. I mean, I've had good ideas, but I've never gotten too far with one. I guess I just need to think a little harder.

I suppose I could kidnap my friends and force them to help me, but I'm a nice person, so I wouldn't do that.

Oh well, I'm sure my time to shine will come soon enough.

Nothing to write

I'm here in computer lab with some absolutely lovely people, on my blog, but I have nothing to write about. I'm just sitting here wasting space and listening to Muse (only the greatest rock band to ever come out of the UK). And reading Erin's latest blog post which she is typing at the moment. I have nothing more to say. Kbye

Movie night with friends

I learned something last night. You can never watch a movie with friends. All you'll do is talk and screw around, and you won't pay any attention to the movie. Not that that's a bad thing, though!

I went to my friend Emma's house last night, along with a few friends, to consume food, jump in a bouncy castle, and watch The Avengers.
The bouncy castle was basically a game of tackle or be tackled. But hey, that's always fun! After that and then some S'mores, we went back inside to "watch" the Avengers. All we did almost the entire movie was chat and screw around, but I didn't mind!
And then Erin decided that it would be FREAKIN HILARIOUS to take my phone and put photographs of herself on facebook. And set a picture of herself as my phone's wallpaper. And then change my Skype profile picture to herself. Love you too Erin!

Well, it's sunday, which means absolutely nothing interesting will happen. I have to volunteer at KEEN today, which will either be boring or exhausting, one of the two!

Gym class sucks

I do not like my gym class. I do not like my gym teacher, and I do not like the things we do in gym class. But I'm a nice person, so I'm gonna try and use kind words to describe my buttmunch of a gym teacher.

Now I'm all for taking gym class to be healthy, but the things we do are pretty hard and exhausting. Today I had it first thing in the morning, and do you wanna know what we did to start off? We ran two and a half laps around the football field. Normally I wouldn't mind, but at 8 in the A.M. and in 50 fahrenheit? Me no likey.

Then we just did stupid soccer exercises for a half hour, just dribbling the ball back and forth in different ways. Now to some, this might be interesting. But for a guy who spends his free time playing video games and music? No thank you.

Then we started to play a modified version of a soccer game (no goalies), but only 2 minutes in and he said we weren't doing anything. There wasn't much for us to do! So what does he make us do instead? He makes us run the length of the football field within 20 seconds. We did this twice, and then we went back to soccer.

5 minutes later we walk back to the school. I'm ready to head back in, get back in my uniform, get a drink, and go to study hall, when Mr. Buttmunch LOCKS ME OUT, along with a few of my friends who were nearby.

It takes us about 5 minutes to get back inside and dressed again. Mr. Buttmunch told me that he didn't know we were locked out, which I would've been fine with, if we hadn't been BANGING ON THE DOOR FOR 2 MINUTES.

Whew, I'm sorry, I'm just a bit pissed off.

On the bright side, The 2nd Law (the newest album by Muse) comes out today! I've only listened to the first half of the album so far, but it's awesome so far!

Sleep

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FRIGGIN' SLEEEEEEEEEPY TODAY

I have no idea how or why I'm this tired today. I went to sleep around 10, which is normal for me. Usually I'm grumpy until I get to school, and then I'm fine. But today I'm so rediculously tired I could fall asleep right here in the computer lab.

And it sucks, because I got a homecoming game to go to tonight, and I sincerely hope I'm not as grumpy then as I am now.

Ugh, at least I have homecoming to look forward to this weekend.

Hello there, friend! How on earth did you find this place? Oh well, I don't mind if you stay, just close the door on your way out.

I should introduce myself. My name is Zack Brown (yes, like the band). I am a professional space waster who has an awesome life, family, and friends. I am actually in my school's computer lab right now as I make this blog, sitting next to my friends Cheyenne, Emma, and my girlfriend Erin. We are all making blogs as a way to stalk each other over the web.

I suppose you're wondering what I am like, so here we go. I have an awesome life, group of friends, and family. I play piano (started playing 5 years ago), drums (started around 4 years ago), and guitar (started playing this past January).

I am a pretty big nerd; I love science fiction, video games, gadgets, and computers, among other things.

I'm also an avid music lover (anything but rap, country, classical, and pop, with a few exceptions to each), my favorite genres being dubstep, alternative rock, progressive rock, metal (80s-90s mostly), and electronica.

I am a huge roller coaster fanatic (only been one for roughly 5 months, actually), and as long as it makes me feel like I'm going to die while still being comfortable, I'll ride it.

One thing I really wanna be is a filmmaker; I'm interested in everything that goes into making a movie; script, cinematography, editing, effects, directing. My problem is that I can never get any solid ideas down into a screenplay, plus I'm only a freshman, so I don't have a lot of time or money to spend on testing my abilities.

Well, this is me, in a nutshell. I'll try to update this blog regularly, but I'm pretty bad at keeping a project like this up and running, so no promises.
